What do you get when the Belli and Streit Orthodontics team gathers on a cold winter day filled with abundant sunshine to give away delicious chocolate? The annual downtown Kent Chocolate Walk! Though you may find it somewhat surprising and maybe even a little unusual, we had a fantastic day meeting many folks from our surrounding community.
Main Street Kent, a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Kent, is the sponsor of the event. Tickets for their annual Chocolate Walk fundraiser were sold out in only 30 minutes this year! Lucky ticket holders enjoyed an afternoon of shopping and eating as they received delicious chocolate treats from local businesses that participated.
We pitched a tent on the trail and brought some coveted Malley’s chocolates to give to participants. Our Saturday afternoon was filled with fun as we connected with the locals and enjoyed our time together as a team. Though it was certainly the coldest team building event we have ever done, we were greeted with many warm smiles which made the day spectacular. Best of all we were reminded that downtown Kent has to so much to offer, even in the middle of winter!
